The CONSTRUCTION SITE COORDINATOR at plays a key role in our customer support and experience. We are looking for a hands-on individual who can operate in the field with efficiently while maintaining an obsessive focus on safety, continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.  A strong product knowledge, field application and safe, efficient installation practices for ADS production and water management systems is required.  This role reports to the Regional Sales Manager (‘RSM’).

 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Work safely and follow all safety policies and procedure.
  • Practice continuous improvement and 6S, including site housekeeping
  • Schedule and coordinate pre-construction meeting with installing contractors and consult within region for ADS product installations
  • Scheduled and coordinate on-site inspections to assure and support proper installations
  • Read and interpret construction drawings and plans, referencing against products and installations processes and customer needs
  • Work closely with ADS Order management to coordinate delivery scheduled and expedite new or miss products when needed
  • Maintain strong communication and feedback to Sales and Engineering teams
  • Proactive monitoring and follow-up of multiple projects to foresee possible issues and react accordingly to service customer needs
  • Organize and maintain accurate data and project files, drawings, delivery info and technical specs to be used on project sites
  • Provide customers or consulting engineers with ‘Letters of Certification’ when requested
  • Participate in trade shows, lunch and learns and other events to promote and educate ADS products, solutions and applications
  • Cultivate and maintain strong professional relationship with internal and external customer and clients

 

Job Skills & Traits - This position should possess the following skills/knowledge:

 

  • Self-motivated and the ability to work independently, while maintaining a strong team-oriented environment
  • Basic knowledge of civil engineering and related codes and specifications
  • Dependable, reliable, prompt and strong time management
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving, with strong math and technical skills
  • Strong communication; reading and writing in English
  • Intermediate Computer and software (Outlook, Word, Excel, Oracle) knowledge and proficiency

Educational Requirements:

  • University or College degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience preferred

Preferred Experience:

 

  • 3-5 Years industry or work related experience
  • Familiarity with construction sites and civil engineering
  • Storm Water Management product knowledge
  • Pipe installation experience

Physical Requirements:

 

  • Valid Drivers License. Extensive travel (personal car) within Ontario.  Vehicle Allowance program eligible
